We were very excited to go to Aloha Food Factory from all the positive reviews we read. We went on a weekend so parking was slightly a challenge. More challenging is the traffic coming from the curve behind you at 60 mph if you're parked on Valley. LOL We waited in a relatively short line of 8 patrons. We noticed the tables were turning over quickly as there's seating inside and out. It took about 20 minutes before we had our chance to order. Training a new person at Reg is really throwing someone into the fire at a brunchish time on a weekend morning. We ordered Loco Moco and the Braised Short Ribs. We were saddened the Short ribs were 86'd as we were really looking forward to trying them. We opted for the Kalbi instead. We sat at our designated table as the food was delivered in a timely manner. The service is quick and friendly. They don't leave you until you're totally set to eat. A very refreshing concept for LA eateries. It was very disappointing that the gravy on the Loco Moco was overly salty. I couldn't finish it. Quite possibly, multiple cooks salted it. The burger patty was of very good quality but very dense. It was almost a struggle to cut into it with the plastic

This place blew me away! The food’s incredible-every bite was fresh, flavorful perfection. Service? Couldn’t ask for better; staff was warm, attentive, never hovering. Those views though… absolutely stunning, like dining in a postcard! Will be back soon for sure. Five stars across the board! Also the only thing this place is missing is some chickens walking around outside to make it completely authentic

Honestly I personally didn’t like my food or the environment. It was a lot going on inside, very tight confined space. I tried the Macadamia Nut Pancakes and to me, it was simply too much going on. I got the small pancakes and it was 3 large pancakes with A LOT of the sauce on top. I’m not one to complain about large portions but it felt really overwhelming. The pancakes itself were really nice (a little overcooked), but I think it was too much sauce on top and very little macadamia nut. I could only taste what reminded me of cup banana pudding that has way less flavor. I’m not a fan of dine in places that make you pay before you get the food. I also got the Kalbi Beef Ribs with rice and eggs. The rice tasted old and it wasn’t even warm. The ribs were eh, not my favorite. Barely and meet on the ribs but loads of fat. The actual meat was too chewy. I will say, one of the staff members was really kind that made up for a lot. I didn’t get his name but he wore glasses and a stripped shirt.

Delicious food! We had the macadamia nut pancakes to share and it was a large portion. On top of the fluffy pancakes was this type of cream pudding that was sweet and the nuts on top were a bit salty. For the entrees, the katsu was nice and crispy, the pork had good flavor. I just felt the vegetables were too crunchy for my liking. I absolutely loved the macaroni salad on the side!

discovered Aloha Food Factory on TikTok and was excited to try it. I really wanted to enjoy the experience because I love supporting small businesses. The woman at the register (an Asian lady with glasses) was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the rest of the front staff did not seem as friendly. A couple of the employees working in the front did not respond when we said thank you, which made the service feel a bit unwelcoming. One of the dishes that gets a lot of attention here is the macadamia nut pancakes. They look impressive—large and fluffy—but the texture and flavor were not what I expected. The topping layer had a taste and consistency similar to cake batter mixed with pudding, but without much sweetness. When eaten with the pancakes, the combination didn’t work very well for us. My husband ordered the Kalua pork and chicken katsu plate. The pork was extremely salty, even when eaten with the rice and salad. The chicken katsu had a nice crispy texture but lacked seasoning. The restaurant itself has a cozy atmosphere that gives a nostalgic Hawaii feel, which is really charming. However, the space could benefit from being a bit more organized and
